Unlike alcohol-based perfumes that project strongly and fade quickly, Mooshq perfume oils are designed to linger softly close to the skin. Our attar perfumes are alcohol-free, oil-based and hand-crafted in small batches, making them more intimate, longer-lasting and gentler on the skin.

Mooshq perfume oils are concentrated, alcohol-free attars designed to sit close to the skin. On average, you can expect them to last 4 to 8 hours, depending on the fragrance and your skin.

That said, longevity is deeply personal.

Attar interacts directly with your skin chemistry. Factors such as skin type, body temperature, climate, hydration levels, and even hormones can influence how long a scent lasts. Some customers find their fragrance lingers all day, while others prefer to reapply after a few hours - both experiences are completely normal.

Because Mooshq is oil-based and free from alcohol, it doesn’t project loudly like synthetic sprays. Instead, it creates a softer, more intimate scent trail that gently unfolds throughout the day.

To help your attar last longer:

• Apply to well-moisturised skin (unscented lotion works best)
• Dab onto pulse points: wrists, behind the ears, collarbones
• Avoid rubbing after application
• Lightly dab onto clothing or hair ends (avoid on whites and light coloured clothes)
• Apply after a warm shower when skin is hydrated

Having to reapply during isn’t a flaw, it’s part of the ritual. Many of our customers treat it as a mindful pause.
